A Day for Danny!
Thank you to everyone who was able to attend the Fabulous Women’s Event for Danny Cox. With Sova Gardens as our beautiful backdrop, the sun shined through the clouds just long enough to have a wonderful outdoor celebration. As you know, the Fabulous Women get together every other month to support causes that touch our hearts…….This event for Danny brought such an emotional reward for everyone present. There was communal healing for the family, and we all felt gratification knowing that we supported one of our own.
Special thanks to Emily, Danny’s sister, for speaking on behalf of her family at the event. It was brave and heart-felt. She was able to share the family’s emotional challenge and their sincere appreciation for the community’s support. With the help of Denise Looney from Sova Gardens, Tres Hombres, Mr. Pickles, Lombardis, Beyond the Glory, Cal West Rentals, Petaluma Valley Athletic Club(PVAC), Expedition Island, Jubilee Jumps, Amy G from the Giants, and music from Fire Child and Hillside Fire, the day was filled with great food and family entertainment. The dessert raffle, auction, and the kind donations from the guests brought in about $9,000.00. Part of that total comes from the generous donation from PVAC which offered the Cox Family a family membership at their health club.
On behalf of the Fabulous Women and the Cox Family, “Thank you Petaluma!” What an awesome demonstration of love, generosity and kindness.
