Happy New Year Fabulous Women! Before I share the details about the exciting event that we have lined up for January with local celebrity, Camilla Gray-Nelson, I wanted to acknowledge the great work that this group did this past year. It seems fitting to reflect on the special moments and causes of 2010…learning about the local magic of Mentor Me Petaluma, uncovering the truth about Multiple Sclerosis and Cystic Fibrosis, supporting the Rwanda -School Project, and adopting the hearts of Keri Casey, Ava Mortier, and Danny Cox. The amazing energy of this group keeps our events enjoyable and inspirational. Thank you for your participation and support. 2011 not only marks a new beginning for the year but also a new inspiration for our group!
The reward of The Fabulous Women is the affirmation that kindness and simple gestures can bring miracles to families dealing with health issues and unfortunate tragedies. It’s also the satisfaction in knowing that we’re restoring hope and creating opportunities. This group has given us a platform to make a difference and spread positive messages. It’s refreshing because there are so many amazing things happening in our community and in the world that goes unnoticed and unsung. How nice that this group gathers over food and friendship while extending comfort and good deeds throughout our community.
