New Year...New Beginnings....

Happy New Year Fabulous Women! Before I share the details about the exciting event that we have lined up for January with local celebrity, Camilla Gray-Nelson, I wanted to acknowledge the great work that this group did this past year. It seems fitting to reflect on the special moments and causes of 2010…learning about the local magic of Mentor Me Petaluma, uncovering the truth about Multiple Sclerosis and Cystic Fibrosis, supporting the Rwanda -School Project, and adopting the hearts of Keri Casey, Ava Mortier, and Danny Cox. The amazing energy of this group keeps our events enjoyable and inspirational. Thank you for your participation and support. 2011 not only marks a new beginning for the year but also a new inspiration for our group!

The reward of The Fabulous Women is the affirmation that kindness and simple gestures can bring miracles to families dealing with health issues and unfortunate tragedies. It’s also the satisfaction in knowing that we’re restoring hope and creating opportunities. This group has given us a platform to make a difference and spread positive messages. It’s refreshing because there are so many amazing things happening in our community and in the world that goes unnoticed and unsung. How nice that this group gathers over food and friendship while extending comfort and good deeds throughout our community.

Next gathering: Jan 30th at DairyDell with Camilla Gray

You are invited to join us on January 30th, 2011. Our next gathering will be held at Dairydell Canine in Petaluma. (2675 Adobe Road) http://www.dairydell.com The gathering will be from 1:00pm – 5:00pm. Local celebrity, Camilla Gray, will be our gracious hostess. We have an exciting cause that celebrates the youth in our community. The Fabulous Women will be embarking upon a wonderful partnership. We will be engaging in a process that empowers young adults to develop their leadership and realize their dreams. You’ll learn about a wonderful organization that has empowered so many locals to reach their potential. Best of all, this cause will heighten your appreciation for life in Sonoma County. Be sure to bring an appetizer or a beverage to share and your own wine glass.

Camilla, aka DogTalkDiva, is the owner of Dairydell Canine. She is not only our hostess, but she is also an author of the soon to be released book LIPSTICK and the LEASH: Dog Training and Leadership a Woman’s Way. She has appeared on San Francisco TV’s Evening Magazine and View from the Bay. Camilla loves teaching – whether it’s dogs, their owners, or the horses you see her riding in Dairydell’s beautiful arena. When she’s not training or teaching, Camilla can be found writing about her favorite subject: dogs and their people! I’m excited to hear her vision for passing on leadership skills to a new generation of confident, effective, fabulous young women. She’ll also share her dynamic approach to being present and engaged in her passion.
