The Fabulous Women will introduce Petaluma to the “Festival of Trees.” This will be a special holiday tradition for the whole family. Our event will be in the wonderful Theatre District. Basin Street Properties will be our amazing community partner for this project. We’ll display beautifully decorated Christmas trees for the community to observe and marvel at. Merchants, families, cub scouts, girl scouts, local law enforcement, and local non-profits will have the chance to submit a decorated tree and ornaments. Some trees will be bid on in a silent auction…others will be raffled. The funds raised will be given to several charities: Mentor Me Petaluma, The Rwanda School Project, and Petaluma Schools.
Petaluma has a tremendous patchwork of families and businesses. This event will be engaging for everyone. There will be craft vendors, food and beverages, holiday music, Santa, and activities. What a great opportunity to promote local giving and global kindness! The dates will be: December 3rd, 9th, and 10th. We are now seeking volunteers for this event. Please let us know if you are interested in working on a committee: marketing and publicity, community outreach, vendors, entertainment, food and beverage, or decoration. We will also encourage the Fabulous Women and their families to stop by the event to enjoy the festivities.
