Fabulous Women Present the Annual Festival of Trees –
Youth & Community Grant Proposals Wanted
The Fabulous Women of Sonoma County, a Petaluma-based non-profit that supports
the local community, is currently soliciting grant proposals to fund local efforts.
2nd Annual Festival Of TreesThe magical holiday event – Petaluma Festival of Trees - will be held again this December, at Theater Square in downtown Petaluma. Decorated and donated holiday trees are auctioned off and the proceeds are distributed to selected charities.
The theme for this year’s festivities, “Our World, Our Community, and Our Youth”, perfectly reflects the way in which The Fabulous Women will distribute proceeds.
Community Proposals WantedIn keeping with the theme, “Our World, Our Community & Our Youth”, The Fabulous
Women are asking local (Sonoma County-based) non-profit and educational organizations to submit proposals to be considered for a grant. Proposals are due November 20, 2012.
Candidates will be chosen by the Board of Directors of The Fabulous Women, and will be announced at the opening night of the Festival of Trees on December 1, 2012. (The FOT continues the following weekend as well).
